Suzanne is an Attorney-at-Law with 25+ years PQE. She is the Principal Attorney at Bothwell Law, established in 2025. Between 2022 and 2025, she was an Acting Magistrate of the Cayman Islands Judiciary.
Suzanne's legal background is extensive in a number of public law areas. She practised primarily in the Grand Court and the Court of Appeal, specializing in planning law, immigration law, judicial review, public service employment law (discipline and termination), family law, human rights law, constitutional law. Her role as Director of the Constitutional Review Secretariat allowed her to gain an intimate understanding of the human rights regime to be introduced in the Cayman Islands and her understanding of the civil service and its practices and processes continues to give her an appreciation of the human rights journey the Cayman Islands continues to experience.
